[UPDATE JULY 2019: now closed to applications]
In 2019 the Open Call for applicants across Europe for the CircusNext programme will open on 2 May and run until the end of June 2019.
As before all UK & ROI applications will be handled by Circus Futures and assessed by our “in-country” Judges who will score the applications against the set criteria for CircusNext and offer extra comments by way of feedback to applicants.
Two UK & ROI applications will be selected and sent to the Paris office as the “UK & ROI selected companies.” These files will then reviewed by the EU Jury and from these the 12 final “Pre-selected” companies from across Europe will be chosen.
After performances by each of the 12 “Pre-Selected companies” at Domelhof in Neerpelt, six Laureates will be selected by the CircusNext European Jury.
The Laureates receive a €10,000 grant, are hosted by PLaTFoRM Members to present work-in-progress performances and residencies, and are invited to present a 30-minute extract of their future show in Paris.
