The CircusNext

EU Project

circusnext logo 2019

The CircusNext project is about sourcing and then supporting emerging artists likely to become a driving force in contemporary circus in Europe. This is achieved through collaborations with key EU based partners to enable the artists to be hosted in creation centres, to find professional assistance (directors, choreographers, composers) to meet producers, talk with technicians, plus dialogue with venues and festivals who will ultimately programme their work.

One main aim is to take into account the different contexts that the artists live and work in, as the standard of circus varies hugely across the EU.

The new CircusNext PLaTFoRM 2019-2021 open call for projects is now online!

Circus Futures is delighted to be the UK & ROI Partner working with the project to launch this new cycle of identification and support of original and creative emerging circus creators.

Application details can be found here: Application deadline is June 7, 2019 at noon French time (12:00) GMT+1

Do make contact with Circus Futures if you are a UK or ROI artist or company and would like assistance with developing your ideas.
