Circus Futures “In Conversation” Events

Friday 20th October Colston Hall, Bristol/UK

Circus Futures is presenting two events in Bristol/UK for professionals on Friday 20th October 2017.

  • between 11am and 1pm there will be a panel debate featuring artists who have been in receipt of bespoke assistance to support their development through Circus Futures and other initiatives.
  • between 4pm and 6pm there will be a presentation about the last four years of the CircusNext commissioning process which will also include details about the next support elements available presented within the Creative Europe Platforms programme.

Delegates are also invited to attend the invite-only performance by Squarehead Productions/ Darragh McLoughlin (IE) CircusNext 2013-2014 Laureate on Friday 20th October 2017 at 3.25pm. This event is also at Colston Hall. This show runs for 30 minutes and is suitable for ages 10 years+.

Delegates are invited to attend the ticked performance by Ilona Jäntti and Aino Venna at 7.00pm on Friday 20th October 2017 and free tickets will be provided. This event is at Bristol Old Vic. Ilona Jäntti (FL) was a CircusNext 2013-2014 Pre-selected Artist. This show runs for 60 minutes and is suitable for ages 12 years+.

Delegates are also invited to attend the invite-only performance by Circus Katoen (NL CircusNext 2015-2016 Laureate) on Sunday 15th October at 5.00pm. This event is also at Colston Hall. This show runs for 50 minutes and is suitable for ages 10 years+. Free tickets can be booked here.

Delegates are also invited to attend the invite-only performance by Compagnie Defracto (FR – Jeunes Talents Cirque Europe 2009-2010 Laureate) on Saturday 28th October 2017 at 7.30pm.This event is at Unit 15. This show runs for 50 minutes and is suitable for ages 10 years+. Free tickets can be booked here.
